Kenya’s Highlights
Kenya features some beautiful coastlines that make ideal diving spots. Kenya has 5 marine parks to choose from. Turtles can be spotted frequently on most dives. Different pelagic animals visit at various times of year. Between November and February, whale sharks and manta rays pass by Kenya. From July to October, humpback whales can be spotted along Kenya’s coast.
When is the best time to go diving in Kenya?
Diving is possible at any time of year but October to March have the calmest conditions and best visibility.

Kindondo
Drop into a real life aquarium with large schools of snappers, barracudas and more. There are cleaning stations which potato groupers flock to.
Turtle Reef, Turtle Bay
At a depth of 10 to 15 meters, aptly named Turtle Reef is abundant with green turtles. Stunning coral features large shoals of fish and white-tip reef sharks.
Shark Alley
A shallow dive starting at 7 meters with a maximum depth of 24 meters is famous for the opportunity to dive with guitar sharks and white tip reef sharks.

Kenya is world renowned for its safaris, national parks, and Kilimanjaro. With over 50 national parks to choose from and 5 marine parks, there is so much to explore. The wildebeest migration can be watched during July and August in the Maasai Mara National Park.

Getting to Kenya
Most travelers will enter Kenya from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi. Mombasa also has an international airport with flights from Zanzibar and other African cities.
