Divers should always dive within their certification limits and experience levels. The recreational diving limit is 40 meters. Deeper than 40 meters is considered technical diving and requires additional certifications. For those older than 15, Diver Level 1 teaches individuals how to dive safely to a depth of 18 meters. For Diver Level 2, the maximum depth is 30 meters.
For those wanting to dive deeper, you can take an additional Deep Diver Speciality to learn to dive to a depth of 40 meters. During the course you will learn how to perform relevant decompression stops, improve air consumption and learn how to manage the effect of diving at depth.
